Hello, my name is Sean. I'm an educator, primitive skills expert, and experiential archaeology consultant based in central Wisconsin. For the past seven years, I've had the privilege of sharing my passion for our Stone Age ancestors through my educational programs as "The Mammoth Hunter." I've been fortunate to present at schools, libraries, museums, and living history events across Wisconsin, engaging audiences with the fascinating world of early human history.
My lifelong journey began with hunting, fishing, and camping alongside my father and brothers. This foundation led me to spend over 25 years studying bushcraft, primitive skills, and wilderness survival, with a focus on their historical and prehistoric applications. A significant part of my work involves replicating and using tools and technologies from various eras, from the Fur Trade to the Paleolithic.
I believe that knowledge attains its true value only when it's shared. This philosophy drives my mission to present complex topics in a way that is both educational and engaging for all ages.
Thank you for joining me on this adventure. Welcome to the hunt!
