About Me:

My name is Sean. I am an educator, primitive skills expert, and experiential archeology consultant based in central Wisconsin. For the last seven years I have traveled the state doing educational programs as "The Mammoth Hunter". I have been very fortunate to have the chance to share my fascination with our Stone Age ancestors at schools, libraries, museums, and many other venues across the state of Wisconsin.

I grew up hunting, fishing, and camping with my father and brothers. I have spent more than 25 years studying bushcraft, primitive skills, and wilderness survival with a focus on the historic and prehistoric use of those skills. Much of that time I have been replicating and using tools and technologies from past ages ranging in time from the Fur Trade Era to the Paleolithic.

I often say that knowledge only has value if it's shared. I truly believe that. I strive to present my knowledge and experience in a way that is both educational, and engaging to all ages.

Thanks for joining me on this adventure. Welcome to the hunt!
